Lino Calogero Spina was born in France and raised in Biella, the most remarkable Italian textile district where he studied at the local textile institute. After his graduation he got a job at Fila Sport and started his journey in the world of fashion, attracted to the position of pattern-maker, a figure designing and shaping clothes, turning paper patterns in amazing dresses. A work requiring creativity, love and passion, perfectly matching his own personality.
Today Lino is a master, a teacher at IPSIA in Borgosesia, a project manager for Città Studi in Biella and a collaborator of IFDA (Italian Fashion and Design Academy). He also hosts conferences and work shows at China Fashion Association in Beijing. Over the years, he has been a valuable collaborator of world- renowned fashion brands.In order to link different cultures around the world, Lino now put together and direct teams of Italian technicians performing on fashion supply chains worldwide.
